Default H.M.S. headers....

I'm considering purchasing a used set of H.M.S. headers...anyone here have any experience with them ?? They're stainless steel, long tube I believe, 5-to-1, 1 3/4inch...i'm wondering how this type of header performs compared to belangers, etc...and if custom pipes are needed for the cats and piping connecting to the long tubes....any input would be appreciated )

All the parts that I have seen come out of his shop are very nice, doubt there is a header out there that will perform better.

I am also tempted to buy mikes headers. I know [******] makes good stuff. I don't think you can go wrong with them

good luck

I've had H M S headers for 5 years now. Fit is perfect, have never had any leaks and performance is great. I watched mine being custom made and the fabricator was a true artist. As far as connecting up to your exhaust you're obviously going to need to go to 3".

[******] headers are, essentially, B&B headers. Great quality. Although, the best sounding Viper I've ever seen was a 97 Blue/White with [******] headers/3" exhaust, no mufflers, no cats. Unbelievable sound.
