There is so much wrong with that video, I don't know where to start.

Why is there a camera on a tri pod, right where the Viper goes off? What are the odds of that happening? "Hey, lets set up a camera/tripod on this corner, just in case we want a perfect shot of the lead car going off right here. We can pan the camera perfectly to catch the slide and crash" Pfft! Its orchestrated, over-produced, done for effect, with an "oh sh*t" overdub for emphasis.

Another version of this over-produced clip has a woman supposedly running to the edge, to see where the Viper lands, but you can see where they cut the clip, and inserted her running to make it look like she did it right after the crash. But when you watch the background, right as she is running to the edge, you can see the motion of the billowing clouds of dust abruptly change, showing that her running to the edge was not chronological or sequential to the crash. So again, the video appears to have been carefully made for maximum effect. I'm not saying a Viper didn't go over the edge, just that by all appearances, the video is an elaborately staged production. Someone said it was made by a production company hopeful to rival Top Gear.
