Default Maintenance items

I would like to change my fluids w/o having to go to the dealership. I did recently get them to change the oil. I think I need to change the anti freeze, rear differential which has no drain plug, and possibly the transmission fluid. Any body have procedures for the differential and transmission fluid change? I also notice that 3 of my rear oil bolts are seeping and I was told I could put some silicone sealer on them to stop the seepage. They go into the block and the top is open into the pan. I am wondering if I need to drain the oil before taking the affected bolts out. If so, I will wait until I need another oil change.

Torque the pan bolts.

Tranny and diff are straightforward.

Tranny - drain plug is on the passenger side rear. Fill plug is on the driver's side front.

Diff is a pain. I think they stopped putting a drain plug in them around 94. You have to get a pump and pull the fluid out of the fill plug. Fill plug is on the passenger side.

You could drill a drain plug in the diff. I drilled one in both my Vipers. Instructions are on this site. I recommend a 1/8 plug, that way if you screw up you can move up to a 1/4 inch plug.

Diff - drill hole through bottom rear cover bolt hole. Then the bolt is the plug.
