Tranny pops out of gear when backing and you have to hold it in gear...
..on a 97 GTS with short shifter kit and Roe S/C . Is that a bad thing? Time to rebuild tranny ?( it has 31K miles)

My car has this problem with a stock shifter. Probably burred blocker rings. Rebuild/replace. Could also be wear on the clutch - not entirely disengaging.
