Roe "blower only" 9.68 @ 143.5 mph
I did run the nitrous with the street tires and went a 10.41 @ 149.77 BIG thanks to Greg Good for the cylinder heads and his selection on the very streetable camshaft. |

Six speed.
Rick SRT10 went 10.40 on street tires in his DLM SRT monster. The big power turbo cars from UGR rolled into town late today....will be at the track tomorrow. |

Very nice Tony! It would be awesome if you could give the full details of your setup. 143 MPH is flat out moving!
Was this on Pump Gas, or Race Gas? |

That car has to be making high 700's at the rear to hit that number. Great run.

Greg Good heads and Gregs camshaft selection were the major changes besides durability changes......very, very streetable cam, maybe more streetable than a 708 cam. 10lb upper pulley with David Weaver lower pulley.
Three weeks ago I pulled the motor for a last minute rebuild (yes, I have worked my azz off these three weeks) Ended up boring it to clean up the cylinders....that got 10ci" and since we were doing rods I got another 3ci" from the stroke. So now the ci" is 500.7 or .8 I also put my AEM back on and went to Florida with 20 miles of driving on Tuesday and zero dyno time. I spent two hours Saturday morning driving and making a few 2nd gear pulls to get the tune close. It still needs start up and drivability tuning but the full throttle tune can't be far off. Big thanks to Greg Good for the heads and cam and tech support, Proline Racing Engines that did the machine work asap, Kevin UGR for some engine parts I needed asap, David Weaver for the pulley, UtahViper for the support, Mike Robbins of Ringgold Chrysler for hauling my car down to Florida. Thanks to Sean Roe for a reasonably priced s/c for us low dollar folks. Today I also sprayed my 150 shot and went a 9.28 @ 151mph 1/8 mile: 6.02 @ 119 Tires are ET Streets. Fuel was racing gas, I can run pump fuel with this same tune with the W/M ..... but when I am going to be beating on the car over and over the good fuel is a nice safety feature to have. Street driving and the occasional blast this tume will be safe with 93 octane. That is based on an even more aggressive tune that I was running with the vec2 and pump gas on the street and race gas at the track or dyno for safety. A little know fact....this summer I was playing around with a powerglide in my car. While it never ran quicker than the six speed it was about as quick and would do it time after time consistantly. With this new power, I look forward to trying it again. I have it worked out so I can change from the stick to auto in about 3 hours. |

Nice.
I have spoken with my Maharaji, and he says Inner happiness for you can only be found by an 8 second timeslip. |

Thanks for the good info!
Last questions: Whats your compression ratio now, and total PSI with the 10 psi upper and David Weaver lower pulley? |

Tony, a "BIG THANKS" to you for all the hard work you put into the car! You wrenched the car, tuned, and drove it.
I'll take a little bit of credit, maybe 5%. |

Tony,
Congratulations on an incredible pass. I knew it was just a matter of time before a Roe "blower only" car made it in the 9's. My plan is to join you in that 9 second club shortly. Greg is working on a set of heads for me as we speak. Nice work, Tony! |
