Lightbulb Cold Air for Paxton S/C

So my Paxton just sux's hot air from the engine. No good. I decided to make my own cold air setup. I mocked up with cardboard then made it out of sheet metal. What do you think?

i like the idea. now id take it to a fabricator and have a nice aluminum one made up and maybe have it powdercoated.

Would like to see before and after dyno numbers.
Could you post the dimensions/plans, I would like to try that on mine?

I can measure the cardboard one and give you the ruff dimensions. I kind of just through it together.

How much?? I did this so I didn't have to spend hundreds on a box. This was around $35. But I think that a nice polished one would look great.

Looks great, really should cut down on the hot air. Kudos to you for doing it yourself.

It's actually very similar to the M2 airbox for the Roe setup (not the best angle here though).

It's sealed under the scoop so no hot air from the radiator or the engine. Just cold air from the scoop.

If you really want to help your car, dump the K&N and the rubber hose that will close in with added boost.
