I felt real good about todays track day. My braking points have really improved.
Here I am playing around with a Corvette C5 Z06 that's on slicks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U07D6Ggv8qs Me running a 1:42 with traffic. I think I could have run a 1:3X without the traffic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTimFBJ51Ms A Mustang, Lotus Elise and me playing around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YpfUa3dZFg

Does leaning into the turns like that help?
Great vids, great tunes. Love the steering wheels on the GenI. I wish our GenII had them instead of our stupid airbag.

The leaning comes from racing go-karts in the league at are local track. I would lean in to get the inside wheel planted. ![]()

Nice, I like to see videos of Gen1's being ran, rather than sitting in the garage.

Have you ever heard of leaning outside? Since both inner and outer wheels are locked together by a solid axle, and since leaning inside puts more weight on the slower turning wheel, this reduces the engine revs. I heard leaning outside, on the wheel making the greater arc, is supposed to allow the revs to come up, giving you more power coming out of the curve. But I don't have any personal experience with this, just wondering what others have tried.
