To add to the above, here is what the people from up north did....

Lets drop the hammer down, shall we!



First, the people driving from the north would like to thank the police in Delaware for giving us a personal escort through the First State. An over 800 horsepower escort! We obeyed all traffic laws at the request of the police. Perhaps the escort can make it all the way down to Maryland next time.

When we hit the Maryland line, things really opened up. You can't ask for more than this!

HISSEY ROAD!



Just a little bit past Hissey Road, was the Crab Deck. The cars there were incredible this year.

A special thanks to Mr. Strakes, Lee and your entire chapter for such a wonderful event. An almost 40 percent increase in cars over past years. If I heard correctly, next year will be the 10th year for this event. Maybe we can reach the 100 car mark. I cannot stress how great this event is.

Incidentally, cars from the following states showed up

Virginia
Maryland
Delaware
West Virginia
Pennsylvania
New Jersey
New York

Perhaps if all of the members in these states could show up, for just this one event, an "Eastern Regional Event", it would be like no other. Thanks to all the De/Md/Va members and members from other states/regions that we met for the day. Already looking forward to "Hissey Road" 2008, Crab Deck X.

Nice pics patentlaw. It was nice meeting you and your wife at the Crab Feast. I have to agree with you that this would be an excellent Eastern Regional Event and definitely one I would not miss. I cannot wait until next year when I do not have to worry about the wife following/keeping up to me in the pickup and not having driven 4 1/2 hours through a storm the night before and then having to drive up from Virginia after not getting much sleep etc. Despite all of that I still had an awesome time and really enjoyed meeting everybody and seeing all the Vipers. I think I will have to bring my radar detector with me next year also.
