compared to here in Ontario...just by crossing the border. They want $2800 cdn. here for 4 ps2's. $1400 usd. at Discount.I guess they do vipers...I'll need an appointment I'm guessing. Anyone know how long to do all 4? Just tires... ![]() |

Certainly pick your tire store well. I used Discount here in Texas. Inspected the shop first, inquired about the equipment, etc.
In the end, they were scared to drive the car in the bay. It was "Sir, could you pull your Viper in to bay #3?" I supervised their every move. No problems. Don't do it any other way. |

I don't think you need an appointment. Just make sure the store has your tires in stock. To do 4 tires I would say plan for about an hour depending on how many people ahead of you.
Personally I would just buy the tires on line and take it to a specialty shop that has a load simulator machine (forgot the actual name). It makes the wheel/tire balanced with the vehicle weight taken in account. I noticed a huge different between what Discount Tire can do and what the specialty shop can do. There's one in Walled Lake but I forgot the name.

the one in West Bloomfield did mine 15mile(Maple) and Orchard lake road. The machine you are talking about is the Road Force machine. I would only let Discount tire mount my tires and like above choose store carefully. Do NOT go to the 12mile and Orchard lake road store!

Go to the 16 mile and Van dyke, my brother works there and he will take care of your car for you.

Go to Motorwerks like Rich suggested. They are a Tire Rack dealer and will give Viper drivers a discount (tell them the Viper Club sent you). They have outstanding equipment which won't scratch your wheels and can load balance your tires (you'll really notice the difference). You can't get better service!

Your best price for PS2s is from THE PARTS RACK. Jon even beats the price from Tire Rack. Then use Discount Tire for mounting and use whats called Road Force Balanceing. Most but not all of the outlets have the balancer. Jon sent my PS2s in just days.
