Just add pepper. Looks like it's already been salted.

that is a horrible case case of exfoliation and intergranular corrosion.

Did that car have a snow plow on the front and a salter on the back by chance? Man... that takes the cake from a corrosion standpoint in my book!

Why would the aluminum show more corrosion than the steel parts (like the sport shims) and the frame? Were all four corners similarly bad? What do the side sills look like?

Where is the piece the sway bar end link attaches to?

THIS IS NOT CORROSION but fatigue ....
In Canada we have so much salt on the roads and never have seen this.

This must be a 10 years old Viper raced all over England ...

Corrosion is way different. Other parts on the car should be rusted too. There is no rust on this Viper. The little red on bolts is just oxydation but I would not call it rust at all
Come here to Canada and see what the rust really looks like.

The sway bar link end broke away ! What did you do ?!
In Canada when we see this we think about poor road conditions ....

What year is this Viper ?

A little undercarriage wash once in a while wouldn't have hurt none either.. call the RSPCA and report that snake abuse.

Its a 1999 GTS with 52km on it.....
The side sills are coming of to be painted a little bubbly but not that bad...

The bush part of the arm broke just backing out of his drive but not sure when the drop link broke.....

Havn't taken the other wheels of yet..
