Question PCM removal...

Ladies and Gents,

I am working on the GTS this eve and need to remove the PCM to send to DC performance to have it returned in time for my drive to VOI.

How does one do that? I know it's on the driver's side. Remove bolts off cover and then what? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Rob

Disconnect the battery power un-screw and pull out. Remove screws that hold the plugs and pull them out.

When I had mine done the car felt entirely different. Turn off skip shift, turn on fans sooner. Picked up 20hp and 20 tq or so on a chasis dyno. HOWEVER the run up in 4th gear 2500 and up took 1 full second less! so there was a lot more area under the curve. AF went from 11 something to 13. BTW you need a lower temp thermostat if the fans come on sooner or they will run constantly. GTS Bruce
