Half Shaft Installation
When installing my new halfshaft (to replace the broken one) what is the correct torque specs for the bolts on the straps?
Also, can the strap and bolts be even used a second time? Thanks! Robert

Not to sound rude, but I think your second question was already covered in your last post about this subject. The correct torque is 15 ft/lbs. Technically you could re-use your bolts with some new loctite, but why would you? You've already subjected the shaft to failure and the straps and bolts were part of that system. Sounds like a factory service manual should be your next purchase.

You are 100% correct on both accounts! Some of my questions were covered in the last posting. Just wanted a clarification as a mechanic friend (who apparently is not as knowledgable as previously believed) is still hell bent on saying the straps and bolts are fine as they are not deformed. Just wanted clarification.  I was not trying to confuse you by asking again!As for the service manual, just got a complete 3 book set set off Ebay about an hour ago...  Thanks! Robert
