Do you see "DOT" stamped on the tire before those series of #'s? If those are the dates, they seem to be old to be PS2's...1402=manufactured 14th week of 2002. 429=manufactured 42nd week of 1999. Here's how to read date codes: Tire Tech Information - Determining the Age of a Tire

Those don't seem like the right numbers. The date codes will be by themselves on one side of the tire. The numbers will be stamped inside of an oval shape.

Pass on those if they are that old, do a search, there is a thread here somewhere on how to tell the date.

Ya, I know they are starting with DOT, but just wanted to double check to make sure something hadn't changed. Sounds like a scam to me...
