Should I join and post pics on the Meguiars Website?

I need a full detail badly-see my other posts.

Newport Viper said there would be members in my area (Southern Ontario) and I should join and post pics on the Meguairs Website.He said that

there will be members in my area that will do it (detail/wax/buff) my car just for the pleasure of working on my Viper?

Anyone here ever do this? I do not trust myself with the snake.

I would have a hard time trusting someone else to wax my car, a guy here got his car waxed for free by a guy that wanted to use pictures of his viper for advertising for his new detail business and the guy backed his car into a pole.

Detailing you car is a great way to get to know it.

Contact local Ferrari or Lambo club and ask where members take their cars. You'll pay more but should find a quality detailer.

Do it yourself, its a bonding experience. Plus, after all of the hard work you'll be constantly reminding yourself not to put the car cover on a dirty car again.

I used to read all the detaling forums and how-toos. I consider myself great at keeping my viper shiny considering it is a DD but do realize that i am ameture night compared to some of these detailing enthuziests. These forums are a good resource and you can hook-up with some nice guys that would be glad to help you with your gen2

Back when i didnt have a viper i always thought to myself, i wish a Viper owner lived near me because i would offer to keep his car clean for free. I even would have been willing to quick detail it twice a week if it was a DD, just to keep her shiny to represent the viper to the fullest!!

The key is finding a True detailing enthuziest that also happens to appreaciate vipers. Dont go on the forums and post an open-ended Q like: "who wants to clean my viper" , you'll get the riff-raff
When you do find someone that you think might be a good canidate, read through some of thier past posts to get a more definate idea of there experiance.
