ARRGGGHHHHHH!

Hope you sue the crap out of him. That is, if the loser has anything to sue for.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Hope you weren't hurt too bad - that one looks like it would have been painful.

If it was a hit and run, how do you know the other driver was drunk? Did they eventually catch the scumbag?

1st off all, I hope you're ok! That really sucks about your car! Please tell me you got out and beat the drunk into a coma with your lug wrench?

EDIT: it was a hit and run? Hopefully karma will bite him in the ass

You know...i obviously suck big time that this happened.
but looking at the car...it looks like it held up to impact real well from a driver safety point of view. some of the lines of the body dont even look contorted.

If i'm right it makes me feel just that little bit safer in mine.

Hope everyone is ok!

Glad you're here and still able to post.

Might try cruising the parking lots of bars in a 2 mile radius... you may find a vehicle with a dented nose and red scuff marks. You might also check the parking lot at the local high school. Last tip I'd try is to put out feelers to area dealerships. If it was a newish car, see if anyone is ordering new headlights/fascia/hood.

Don't put faith in the police finding them. With no fatality and not much to go on, they're not going to go knocking on doors.

Did you get a look at the make/model/color?

It looks like the insurance company will declare it a wreck. I've read that others here have had positive outcomes from similar experiences when they've spoken to JonB for advice. Best of luck!!!

Sure are glad you are OK, People are just unbelievable these days. What if you were really hurt and they left you there to suffer, man that is messed up. Had to be a kid, I would hope a adult would handle this different.

Good luck with the insurance thing and hopefully your quest to replace your baby.

That car did a great job. Glad that you are in good shape.
Viper's are replaceable, drivers & passengers are not.

+1 for doing a little investigative work on your own for the driver. Calling up body shops will probably get you the furthest.

I have ZERO tolerance for things like this. I just read this post and it make me furious that these things happen. At least you are ok. If it were me that got hit, I would be in jail for murder.

Good luck
