Customers desiring to rebuild their Viper Competition Coupe engine should contact Viper Race HQ at 888-960-3333. Please be prepared to provide the following information to Viper Race HQ:
• Chassis Number • Engine Number • Number of hours on Engine & Chassis (from Engine Log 1 & 2 Tab in Motec) • Reason for Engine Rebuild • Desired Time for Engine Return Viper Race HQ will send a shipping kit to your facility if you do not already have an engine container. Once the engine has been properly package with the enclosed instructions, please contact Viper Race HQ to have the engine picked up. When your engine reaches our facility it will be disassembled and inspected to ensure that the following core components are re-usable: 1. Engine Block Assembly 2. Cylinder Head Assemblies 3. Engine Mount Assemblies 4. Intake Valves 5. Rocker Arm Assemblies 6. Chain Case Cover Assembly 7. Crankshaft Assembly 8. Camshaft 9. Alternator 10. Starter 11. Exhaust Manifolds 12. Intake Manifold with fuel rail and injectors 13. Throttle Body 14. Engine Wiring Harness 15. Oil Pan Assembly 16. Valve Cover Assemblies Normal engine rebuild turnaround is 4 weeks, depending on current work load and result of engine inspection. An engine exchange program is typically available upon core inspection, reducing turnaround time to approximately 1 week after inspection. Viper Race HQ will contact you with the final engine rebuild cost and estimated delivery date after inspection. Once your engine leaves the dyno and completes its final checkout you will be contacted with the final delivery method and date. Payment for engine rebuild is required prior to final shipment. Customers electing not to rebuild their engine after inspection will be responsible for labor incurred during disassembly and return shipment. As with all Competition Coupe engines, no dyno curves will be provided under any circumstances. Viper Race HQ |
