Event: Vipers @ Derby Day & Cruise to Riverview BBQ
When: Sat. June 26th 9:45 AM
Where: Derby Ct. 06418 corner of Elizabeth St & 5th St

Derby Day is an annual street festival focused around the Derby Green. Derby is the smallest city in CT. and has much historical value. There will be games, music, vendors selling arts and crafts as well as the usual fair type food and ethnic food. Many things for kids to do if you bring them. There are usually tours of the Sterling Opera House.
If you're available on Saturday, come out and check it out. This is kind of something I've wanted to do for awhile, it's taken me years to get the city to allow us to show our cars. I hope you can come and join me. My reason is I've wanted to show our Vipers to people who wouldn't normally get to see them. The festival is from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but we will leave at 1:00 PM to cruise to Riverview BBQ. They even have waitresses now! That place keeps getting better and better! Last time I was there they asked how I would like my hamburger done, when is the last time someone asked you that?!

The best way to come is to take Route 8 and get off exit 17. The GPS may not take you this way, but some roads will be closed due to the festival, so this is the best way to go. Take a right off exit 17 South onto Seymour Ave. Exit 17 North, go straight off the exit 1 block and take a right onto Seymour Ave. Seymour Ave will split, stay to the right onto Elizabeth St. After 3 blocks you will reach the barricade, take a left onto 5th St. We are parking right there on the right side next to the green or on the green itself. Join us for some delicious BBQ on the river at Seymour. The River View BBQ offers an excellent BBQ menu from one of the most unassuming places in CT. Plenty of parking and seating by the river. The drive down is always fun. And yes, the parking lot is paved this year! As well as many other improvements!

Jimmy, if I can get out of work early I'll meet the gange at River View but I'll probably be cooking in the kitchen. Stay awary from "Tony's BBQ ****** Meat". :D
