Does anyone know how to get rid of spam
This junk keeps popping up on my computer and it wont go away !!

Add the e-mail to your "Block E-mail Address" option. That should fix it.

Al, Since you are on AOL there are steps they have to minimize spam and even eliminate their own pop up ads.
1. click on keyword and type in SPAM . then follow the info. 2. go to "Preferences" and select "Marketing" and go through each item to minimize marketing spam. |

If im on my internet explorer, not on aol, the ads pop up about 10 at a time, you can get rid of them, clean out temp files, cookies etc.. and when you open up another window, there back.

You may notice that spam is usually not sent directly to your email address. It usually shows some other email address in the 'To:' section. What I did was create a rule in 'Rules Wizard' that automatically moves anthing that is not addressed specifically to me into a junk folder. Works great and eliminates about 90% of the crap from my inbox.

Doesn't sound like Al is talking about his e-mail but he's getting lots of pop-up Advertising Windows opening up in Internet Explorer. So Al, What are they advertising?

If its 'Pop-up windows' that are giving you a problem, goto www.addsubtract.com They have software there to eliminate pop up windows
