What's the best car security system?

I had my radar detector stolen out of my RT/10 the other day. They took it by unzipping the windows, reaching in and not even opening the door. So needless to say the existing system, which was armed, didn't do the job.

I just got a Valentine 1 and don't want to see that one leave too. I am looking for the best security system that has what I believe is called "microwave detection". That is, one of those systems that say, "Step away from the car!" or something like that by just detecting the person, not requiring a door to be opened.

Actually I would like one of those South African flame-thrower security systems that fry thieves but I would probably do time for that... and that would interrupt my driving schedule!

****Another great site that has several high end lines of car alarms is http://www.directed.com/ After looking around that site on the viper(no pun intended) line of car alarms, they have what would probably work for you. It produces an invisible field around the car which when broken can either give a voice warning or full alarm. Go to the site, click on viper, then accessories.
