Default Dyno-ing a 2001 911 Turbo

My parents are getting thier 2001 Turbo in April. I was wondering how we could put it on the dynomometer as it's all wheel drive?

Thanks,
Tim

You need to use a 4-wheel dyno to test the car. There is only one such machine in the USA that I know about, and it's located in Kansas (I believe).

Probably real expensive to rent too...

You could also disconnect the coupling which connects the front driveshaft to the tranny, and then just dyno it on a standard rear wheel dyno. That's how they usually dyno 993-era 911TTs...

I have had 4 GMC Syclones. I just disconnect the front drive and rear wheel dyno it. BTW, my one and only Syclone I have left dynod at 292 horses and 404 foot pounds of torque. Chasis dynos are a blast. Have fun. Going to dyno the Viper soon.
