It is finally here! We ordered her in September of 1999. I got to drive it today, and all I can say is WOW!! It is unbelievably fast. It doesn't seem to have the torque of the Viper, but when it hits about 3,000 RPM, it really gets going. I used to think that I'd easily beat one of these on the street with the Viper...now I am thinking otherwise! (unless I hit the nitrous...)

This is why we need MODERATORS! To keep this type of stuff off our board.
Ok ok, I'm just jealous. Anyway, Great car, and do let us know how the two compare if you race them. |

Viperbrat--No, I didn't trade the Viper in!! I would never think of doing something like that! lol!
I'll let you guys know the results if I end up racing it. Just be prepared if one of these pulls up next to you in the Viper...it's some serious competition! Brad...let us know if you ever race one of those other "grocery getters" you posted pics of! haha Tim |

Great Car!!!
I raced a friend of mine that has a 2001 Twin Turbo. I just had smooth tubes, K&N, Rear Subassembly. He beat me off the line by about 3 car lengths, but after 3rd to 4th (about 110-115mph) I was ahead of him about 1 - 2 car lengths. The great thing about the porsche is all wheel drive. I learned a long time ago...there is no replacement for cubic inches!!! Good Luck with the new toy. ROB |
