Planning a short trip to Vegas soon. Just curious what places all of you like the most, who has the best tables, slots, etc. etc. I like the Barbary Coast for blackjack, 2 decks, hand delt to you, $5 tables (although I somtimes get up to two hands at $75 each hand.) I'm going to stay at the Paris, anyone have any leads anywhere for tickets, good seats. I may have to check out some Viper rental places.......

Freefall at the stratosphere? I thought they had a roller-coaster. How about shows? Who's go the best in the past 2-3 years?

I just got back from six days in Vegas. Stayed at the Hard Rock, definitely the BEST scenery in Vegas (if ya know what I mean). Go see Mystere at Treasure Island or O at Bellagio if you have not seen them yet. You can call ahead for tickets.
Good Luck, HadaViper |

Steve,
From what I heard a few weeks ago when I was there for the Viper Days event, your best odds will be at Sherri's or the Chicken Ranch in Pahrump. I didn't get a chance to make it out there, but that's what one of the locals told me. I told him I was from out of town and wanted to go to a place where I might feel lucky. |

Sean, I think the wife would object... unless of course she can go to the ROSTER ranch (lol). Seriously I'll have to check out the comedy show. What else?

Definitely....
1st choice - "O" at Bellagio 2nd choice - Mystere at Treasure Island 3rd choice (but best value) Blue Man Group at the Luxor I will be there from the 15th through the 17th for the grand opening of my friends casino "The Palms". Shoot me a PM or an email and we'll see if we can hook up, although it looks like I won't have much time (I have several businesses there). ![]() |

Biggy!!!!! I'm scheduled to be in Vegas the 16-18 of November with a couple people (including the little lady you made friends with at taco night). I owe you a couple drinks, so we gotta hook up - maybe we can convince PMUM to roll out as well.

<<#3 best value Blue Man Group>>- wow, I have just got to give a differing opinion on this one, having seen the Blue Man Group at Luxor a few weeks ago- in my humble opinion, they are overhyped and not so hot; my wife and I about fell asleep through their semi-lame "performance"- I'm sure some people think they are great, but the audience for this show seemed pretty unresponsive to them. (Please, no hate-mail from Blue Man fans!!). I agree that Mystere is great and WELL worth the time and money; Siegried and Roy are pretty good, would think Rick Springfield would be good in EFX. Believe it or not, "Purple Reign" (a "Prince tribute band") is a lounge act at the Boardwalk (for free!) that was pretty fun to watch.

RED ALERT!!! How am I going to talk my lovely bride into bailing out?? Any advice would be appreciated! Seriously she is a lot of fun, but this deal smells like a classic boy's night(s). And Kid and PMUM, before you start in on your ball & chain smack, remember, it will happen to you....sometime... somewh... OH!! WAIT!!, I remember MumDaddy's early departure from the Taco Shed! Definitely Hide related!!! (What are you guy's doing out there and where are you staying? Drop me a PM) DB ![]() |

I've seen EFX three times, Tommy Tune, Rick Springfield, and believe it or not the VERY best (I can't believe I'm gonna say this) was David Cassidy! Jeez I used to hate the Partridge family (although Susan Dey was a hottie). I didn't like Springfield, or maybe I'd seen it too many times.
I guess Middleton and I have different tastes, except the Viper! Or perhaps we both caught each other's shows on a bad night. However, I can assure you I have absolutely NO interest in seeing a prince impersonation! He** I would run the other way from the "symbol" formerly known as Prince himself!! Different strokes! ![]() |

Don,
I am not much of a Prince fan either, but thought Purple Reign was quite amusing- I thought the Prince impersonator was a better Prince than the real thing! Warning (enticement?): the show is pretty x-rated in spots. It really was kind of fun (or maybe I was just intoxicated?) I saw Tommy Tune and David Cassidy in EFX- they were both ok I guess, I am disappointed to hear that Rick Springfield was not a lot better- I liked some of his stuff way back when. |

Ken, are you going? Maybe we'll wheel out the shifter karts for the daytime festivities (after throwing up that is).

Just got back, just went for 2 days, not enough time, should have been 3-4. Saw both shows. Rita was a good show for the wife and I. The amazing Johnathan was so-so. If you like howard stern or man-cow, you'll love him, otherwise I'd steer clear, some of his stuff was good..... Going to have to plan the next trip WITHOUT the nagging, how much are you betting, let go to bed at 10:00, couldn't stop wining, watching over your shoulder wife..... O well, I guess there are things husband and wife don't have in common.....
