I swear, it is NOT ME!! Yet today I was in another accident. This time I had a witness - my wife. We were sitting in our GMC Yukon XL (Suburban) at a red light. I glanced in the rearview mirror just in time to see a guy with eyes now the size of pie plates trying to stop his Honda Accord from full speed in about 30 feet before he hit us. I said, "Oh ****!" as his brakes screeched and BAM, he whacked us. We were already having a pretty crappy day as it was.
So, I jump out of the truck and the guy is just apologizing all over the place. Check the back of the truck: Nothing. Not a scratch to be found. Most prominent feature on the back? My MGW trailer hitch plug with the Viper logo. Turn to his car and sure enough: He has cut out a beautiful silhouette of the MGW plug right in the middle of his bumper cover. He couldn't have placed it any better, as it was dead center in the space for the license plate (no front plates in Kansas). It looked like a cookie-cutter had done a perfect job. He is blubbering his apologies and I am trying desperately not to laugh. I get back in the truck and my wife is worried. I tell her to check out the beautiful MGW hole in his car and she bursts out laughing. No harm, no foul. Oh, and the stainless titanium MGW plug? Absolutely perfect after I pulled off a few pieces of Honda! Chris |

That's one way to leave a lasting impression on a Ricer. I prefer a different method.

I had the same experience: sitting at a red light in my Ram 1500, some idiot rear ends me in a civic. The difference was my truck is a bit higher, and the tow hitch punched a nice square indent into his hood. Moron-boy's excuse: "I was just playing with the radio and I kinda flaked." Right. Anyway, had it checked, no damage to my truck, he's got a permanent reminder marked in his hood. Fair enough. |
