I know a lot of guys name their cars. I've never been much for it, but lately I've taken to calling the C5 either Lemon, Beater, or various incoherent strings of curses.
How about you? |

Sorry. Even though I worship my car like most Viper owners I have not even thought to name it. Boats yes, cars no.

My nortiously locally known street race Studebaker was "The Red Car"
Bad Viper is of course "Bad Viper" But I just can't find a name for my red Viper. Nadine had a good idea with "Good Viper" (I guess that makes me The Ugly) .... |

My kids named mine "Millie" since she is a Millennium Edition Steel Gray. Millie may sound mild but boy, can she ever kick you in the nutz!!!

JMcGuire,
I hate to tell you this, but I have the phrase "the Viper", used to designate my car, copyrighted. Should you decide to continue calling your car "the Viper" I feel I must insist on a royalty payment. If you wish, I can install a device in your garage that will simply listen and count up the number of times you refer to your car as "the Viper" and I'll just bill you automatically per usage. I promise that device has no other function. PS I noticed you might also want to license the use to employ the terms "the truck", "the car", and perhaps "the boat". I can provide a discount on those copyrighted terms as well. ![]() |

It's referred to as "THE CAR". Everyone knows whenever I mention "THE CAR" which car I'm referring to.

I still use "Wow" for the most part. Walk out to it in the parking lot and say, "Wow". Hit the throttle and say, "WOW!" Open the hood to check the oil and say "Wow". Yep, me and Wow get along just fine...

I usually name my cars after Playmates or other hot babes. With the Viper, it's an outrageous/loud car so I needed an outrageous name. After watching American Pie, I really enjoyed Stifflers character, "outrageous", so the Viper ended up being named Stiffler.
