This car stuff is just too much fun!
This thing is hoot to drive... At power band rpm, the 5.7 Litre 530 bhp V12 growls like nothing I've heard before. ![]() This is the first Roadster I've had but so far it's been alot of fun with the roof off. It is carbon fiber and weighs almost nothing and is easy on and off and conveniently stores on top of the engine hood. ![]() I've put 500 miles on it so far. Although this picture does not accurately capture the look, the rear view of this car is way cool. ![]() It feels way different than the Viper and there is NO doubt that it lacks the torque the Viper has but with a redline of 7100 rpm, it pulls WAY hard between 4500 and 7000 rpm. Enough for tonight but more to come later.. Cheers! |

Personally, I prefer the Lime Green Murceilago, but I'd take that in a pinch.
Seriously though, nice wheels. How do you decide what to drive in the morning? I'll file it under my "things to buy when I'm rich" list. |

The Murcielago is pretty cool. Unfortunately, there may not be a Roadster in that car until 2004 or 2005. Actually, that's good news for Diablo Roadster owners since it may help prop their values for a while.
It is a fun car to drive. I still can't get over the sound at WOT. |

What is redline? It's friggin' beautiful, by the way. I mean, I've seen a million of these things, but never in red. Either you've got a great camera, or that's THE color for this car.

Thanks. Redline is 7100 RPM and where it develops peak HP. The red is a good color for these things but what may make this one look different is the fact that it is a Roadster and not a Coupe. The Roadster is quite a bit different from the Coupe and only 200 were made in 4 years. |

GORGEOUS car Paul! Be sure to get a picture for us with the top off. I have never seen a roadster without the hardtop in place. Stunning car, and congrats!
