favorite racing drivers ? Favorite teams? Why?

list the greats in order of what you think:
keep in mind this list doesnt have to be the best driver...just favorite.


1. Michael Schumacher - simply the best..ever

2. Richard Petty - a fan as a kid.. liked his cars and his hat.. Got to love the old 43 STP

3. Mark Donahue - a great driver with some fantastic cars and teams. Tragic death. I have worked on some of his cars as resotoration/vintage racing projects.

4. Helio Castroneves- aka...his fence displays at Indy...classic! 2 time Indy winner. A asset to current US open wheel racing.

5. AJ Foyte. A true *** but a great icon of the sport. I like his don't mess with me attitude. The John Wayne of racing. 4 time Indy 500 winner.

Favorite teams..
1. Ferrari -the history and passion
2. Penske - because they win
3. Every weekend racing team out there just having fun.

I might have more but I thought this would be a good start.

All three of these guys are class acts.
