I was reading the CNN page and noticed a story on some beached whales and how people were working to free them. I assume these same people show the same love and passion for our fellow Americans in need…… ?????
I saw the picture of the beached whales and thought to myself, “I wonder what they taste like?” Apparently some of them have to be euthanized……how many stomachs could they feed? I say start up the barbecue on the beach and start cooking. Kill a whale to feed a hungry human or child. |

When I was a little kid and lived in Tiburon Ca, the last operational whaling station in the US was in Oakland (or thereabouts). I used to see the whaling ships pass by right in front of our house going through Raccoon straights with dead whales tied up along side of them. One of em got loose one time and washed up on the beach about a half mile from us. OMG what an un-B-lievable world-class stench!! 8 tons of festering blub upwind kept the whole neighborhood gagging in our homes for several days while the coast guard tried to figure out what to do with it. I think they eventually blew it up into small bits that the seagulls could manage.
The guns on those whaling vessels were really badass too. About a four inch gun that shot a huge steel grenade tipped harpoon. Kinda like what I'm gonna stick in Brunty if he doesn't quit buggin me. ![]() |

No, don't. Michael Member, Sea Shepherd http://www.seashepherd.org

Seeing where you live and prior posts from you, I am not surprised at your comment. Generally I only kill what I eat. Flipper and his family are safe from me; I am not a fan of water. Shark is tasty though in morning with some fried eggs and ham. I am sure whales were beaching themselves long before man came into the picture. Interesting how we play God with animals and care for them in such a way, but we neglect to care for our own homeless and starving. I would not hesitate to shoot one of these whales to feed our own. |

That's a good point.. you probably are a liberal who also thinks abortion is OK? You guys and your organization are going to sail that boat all over the world to save a few whales, but why aren't you protesting the abortion clinics where innocent babies are slaughtered everyday?????? Why do groups like yours typically support pro-choice when it comes to humans, but are pro-life when it comes to some gay whales who are too stupid to stay away from the beach in the first place? |

because human nature, we inherantly hate other humans. We are indifferent to self destruction.
Example: See a movie audience watch people get blown appart left and right, guts, arms, heads ya name it. Total carnage. No problem See a movie and someone shoots benji... all hell breaks loose! People freak out and start writing congress. I honestly could give 2 sheits about abortion. Do what ever she wants to do.. her body. Yeah, it took two to make.. and thats great if they can work something out, but 90% of it will never work. You got teens knocked up at 13, rapes, etc. If she has a kid and can't take of it..where does it go? To a foster home to live a tetering life of inhome/outhome. Also costs tax payers much more money... like the prison system. They are not human being (sentient) until born. Don't give me that "It could have been the next einstein" crap. It could have been the next Adolph Hitler or Ted Bundy.. it wasn't anything but a lump of organized cells. It has no name, it had no life. Your life experiences make you human, not being born. I support executions, I support abortions within reason. I support killing anyone who is not worth a **** , because it reduces that chance of the genes re-entering the gene pool. I belive in the use of force to solve problems, because it is the only thing the human psychie will ever truely obay. The silly combination of Logical and Irrational, human. Natures greatest creation, and it's biggest failure. Light and dark, good and evil, yin and yang. Innocent people die, it's a fact of life. You either accept it, or let it consume you. My views offend some people.. if you don't like it, don't read it. MM |

You guys keep referring to a FISH BBQ.
A whale is a mammal. Tartar sauce and the like is/are completely inappropriate! Ketchup/Mustard and as previously mentioned, BBQ sauce (I personally think this goes best with blubber) is the way to go...although, in this case, a rack of ribs would surely be herniating! Bon Appetit! BTW-whales (as with all mammals) have hair - and the thought of a 4 inch black fiber gliding down your throat amidst the blubber wash is NOT appetizing.(Where's that little vomit smilie when you need it?) |
