Anyone remember that arrest for \"Driving While Black?\"
I think it was in Georgia.
Woman pulled over for profile of "Black driving under speed limit." They found $15k in cash and seized it because it was obviously drug money. She proved where the money came from and it was related to damages associated with Hurricane Andres. They returned $10k. Why did they keep $5k? Because it would take $6k to get it back! The ACLU stepped in. Isn't that RICO? (racketeering?) |
