1/12 SCALE VIPER RT/10
I was just at an outlet toy store and saw a nice 1/12 scale ANSO model of the RT/10. They have 3 left, all white with blue stripes. It says they are a limited edition of 3999. I think i saw them in the Viper club magazine for 250.00, this place has them for $149.00. If anyone is interested in one, let me know and i'll pick them up for you, i also have a UPS account so i can ship them cheaply.

the good ones are the JRL cars, tehy are the originals. Anson's are the re-issued ones.
the red one is a JRL and the blue is an anson  |

The original JRL came in red and black, i have both. Then Anson reissued them and added yellow, green, blue w/white stripes, and white w/ blue stripes (I bought yellow and green). The striped ones are inaccurate...both have side pipes and the blue car has 96 stripes. The Ansons can be found for $49 at Kay Bee Toy stores.

I have a total of 46 (10 hotwheels/matchbox, 1 hotwheels CC)different die cast Viper models. I only collect street version RT/10s except for the one hotwheels CC. I also try to only buy accurate models as far as rims, color combos and side vs rear exhaust. In my collection there is only one mistake, not counting the little hotwheel/matchbox cars and that is a bburago 96 black RT with side exhaust (it was a gift). All other cars are correct.
If you count my GTS monopoly playing piece I have 47. Wait, 48 counting the full scale RT in the garage. |

ive got a total of 77 1/18 scale cars, including 5 different murcielagos, 6 diablos, 4 countachs, even 4 vipers. ive got close to 40 1/43 scale, mostly lambos,porsche,ferrari and 1 viper gts.

I just purchased 2 Vipers that match the "Big ones" in the garage
and now I can't stop buying them. I went from 2 to 6 in the same week. I must have about 10 auctions going on e-bay right now. Couple of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and assorted exotics. I'm really surprised with the detail some of these toys have. Makes me feel like a kid again. Has any one seen a 1/12 scale version of a 96 or 97 Blue/white GTS? -Jonathan |
