Of the people who get their posts pulled, I
thought I was being very even handed with my
comments. Please excuse the oversight on my
part. But I'm still glad to be able to post
here no matter how long they last. I also
joined the forum over at Brand X, but they
are a little raw for my tastes I don't think
I'm man enough to go to the place where they
would pull one of my milktoast posts. I want
to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a
Merry Christmas (Hannakah Too)! Keep the Faith
and Semper Fi Viper folks.

No but they pulled two of her threads. They pulled sweet Viperess' threads. She is pretty level headed and never stirs crap up. Her threads being pulled just goes to show how nuts this has all become.

Finding the original "banned" group to be a bit extremist (yet wildly funny) I hesitated to criticize. But the recent group of members, whose COMPLETELY appropriate posts are being pulled SIMPLY BECAUSE OF DIFFERING OPINION is angering even me and many others...all of whom would consider themselves relatively moderate VCA members.

The continued deletion of opinionated (and completely appropriate by Board rules) posts by responsible VCA Board members is offensive and IRresponsible. It is also having a marked alienating effect on many of us who are NOT the "enemy". Someone should (and must) take note of moderation that is now truly and OBVIOUSLY becoming arbitrary, capricious and personal in nature. Or simply close the OT section altogether, where YOU ARE INVITING opinionated, pithy and often alternative views.

Agree completely. Laura is a respected and articulate member of our VCA, and I will make sure that this is straightened out.
