air compressor
i'm looking to buy air compressor and air guns. it needs to remove crank bolt. which one should i get? i only have 120v in my house. i don't have 240v.
i just returned my husky compressor. it is 22gallon tank rated at 125max psi but it didn't do anything to crank bolt. my air gun is rated at 500max ft-lbs. i also found 330ft-lbs electric impact. do you think 330ft electric impact can remove most crank bolts? |

It's not the tank rating it is the airgun rating.

i assume you got that husky air compressor from home depot. since they carry alot of this product. they also carry ingersoll rand compressors. i bought what was supposed to be the most poweful air compressor at home depot for use with 120v. but the 6 hp motor kept tripping my circuit breaker. so i returned it to home depot and exchanged it for the ingersoll rand garage mate air compressor (5 hp motor) and never have had a problem. i have a husky 3-speed 500 ft. lb max air gun. this will work for your crank.
