Anyone know anything about Porsches?
Hey guys, I am trying to find some info on an old-vintae Race/Street Porsche that was the first car made for both the track and the street. It is a 1964 Model Year, and they only made about 100 of them. Today they are worth over $400,000. Does anyone know what kind of Porsche this was? I can't seem to find anything on the internet about it, and was hopeing someone here can shed some light on it for me. My dad's friend has spent 20+ years and a whole hell of a lot of money restoring his, and he is maybe going to sell it to the Porsche family for $500,000. He hasn't lost a car show with it yet, and the only one he did lose was because it looked like it was going to rain so he didn't take it out of the trailer. I am looking for info so I can have some sort of knowledge on it when I am finally able to go and see it. Thanks a lot guy...

904 GTS ?? I dont know about the value though?
The 04 was a lemans car that ran in 64 but I dont know how rare they are. |
