Not more then 5 or so hours ago m pet sugarglider passed away. Follow link below for further info on what a sugarglider is. She was the second pet i had ever owner and only had her for better half of a year. I know this isn't a upbeat topic, but I felt I just had to post it at my "favorite" site. Hope it is ok. I loved her so much but never knew how much until now. She will be missed greatly to say the least. For further info on her, as well as her former mate Flip Jack ( who after his loss tonite also would like a prayer for Nora and himself ), please follow this thread.

My mom called but didn't visit the vet yet. He is out fo town until next week. According to what he said ( according to what mom told him ) it wasn't anything I or she could of done. it was either complications with a baby or kidney failure. While that isn't a "comfort", at least I know it isn't anyting "preventable". By which I mean it's nothing we could of known about. Still sucks though.

One of my friends got a sugarglider a while ago. I was so jealous of that damn thing. She'd bring it everywhere and keep it in her cleavage because that's where it felt "secure" when it was still a...whatever the hell you call a baby squirrel

lol..."bra baby". It's very common for women to do that. When young they are called "joeys". They are expensive, tedious, and a hard pet. moreso then almost any dog...lol

Sorry to hear about your loss. Pets are just like children. Nice photos, too. Sugar Gliders look like a real nice pet to have. Your other Glider will want a new Glider for companionship.

Yes I do believe he will. He is a real compassionate guy and since I am at school most of week, can't stay home. I mean my mom takes care of him ( them ) when I am gone.

Francisco,
Sorry to hear about poor Nora. It's always hard to lose a pet - especially those that don't think they are pets! Things do get better after time - you'll be able to look back and smile without this overwhelming feeling of sadness you have right now. Hang in there. e-hugs, Janni |
