Anyone have a Viper-jealous friend?

Wonder if anyone has a similar experience to mine.
An old friend contacted my through one of those 'find and old high school friend' on-line deals. We traded e-mail a few times and caught up for the last 15 or so yrs. we'd been out of touch. All was cool until...I sent a pic of my GTS. The next e-mail I got was him spouting off about me showing off, etc.
All of the sudden he's all "I could buy one, too, you know." "My brother has a Prowler", blah, blah, blah.
Too bad, he used to be a decent guy. What makes someone like that tick?

Here in Europe you get many of those experiences. People dont like when you show what you have worked for... especially when you are young(er).
When i got my new GTS at the age of 20 3/4 i heard many hatred comments.

Give a sh*t what other People think or say... you are the one that bought a Viper from his self earned Money.

On other sites I hear a lot of “I don’t hate Vipers, I just hate their owners”.

They hate the owners because we have one and they don’t. You really can’t blame folks for feeling that way though . If I ever saw an Enzo going down the road I would instantly not like the guy driving it because he has one and I don’t.

That's great. I work with so many "kids" your age (33 myself), and most of them are lazy and think they deserve to live like rap stars.

Keep at it! I'm only jealous you had more in you than I did at your age.

Dang thats awesome, you must have been workin your a$$ off. I bought minelast year at 23 also, i dont have any jealous friends. They all love my car and there happy i have it, just means they get to ride in a Viper.

Thanks for the kind words guys... But you know the real fun started after I turned 21 and was able to get into bars. There's nothing like showing up and parking your Viper right in front for all the ladies to see....
