Filing Taxes Online
Is there a way to file your taxes online for free or do I need to go get the TurboTax software to be able to do it electronically?

Do not file online. It makes it easier for the IRS. Hand write all the figures and make them transpose it.

wife does ours everyyear and uses turbotax software. but thats what she does for a lot of people.

Here's a good one.
As agreed, Louisiana oil & gas royalties in my name, actually cashed by my father with same name into his account. Is there a federal form I can use to commmunicate he will claim the income, or will we need to ask for ammended W-2s? Last resort he pays me 25% but he can write a great deal off as independent real estate agent. He swears there is a form, buut I can't find it. |
