So what you think? Center pipes verses the old pipes.
Well, I got a real nice set of Murci tail pipes and they appear they will fit just fine! Here are some pics...I have boxes holding them up to give an idea what they will look like....what do you think? I kinda like it...I think I will send them off to get Jet hot or chromed. So while my car is going under some surgery....I am just adding on knick knacks on them....might as well. Here are the old pipes. this is what I am shooting for. |

I think you miss your GTS... looks like you're trying to make your lambo look like one.
Looks good, and admire the work involved, but I prefer the 4 pipes. |

I like the 4 pipes as well, but its a Diablo. I'd take it if it had a muffler from Pep Boys and exhaust tip from KMart on it

YOU BET I am! That is where my heart is and always will be... I got these part from Chicago....a guy who owned a Murci decided to go with a different system and left his pipes. I nabbed them for $150.00...labo charges $1200 for them...so I made out like a bandit! The pipes are practically brand new! If I didn't get these, then I would have made my own. I like the center tail pipes and like how the mandrel bends kinda of hang down. Makes the bull look like it has some balls. LOL! Check out this sound clip of the murci with a modded exhaust. I hope to get a similar sound... Diablo with straight pipes... Murci sound clip |

Ab, show us some pictures of that engine bay Cleaned up!
That Lambo looks GREAT! Although, I prefer the looks of the stock exhaust over the Merc. JMO I'm sure the sound is much better with the Merc, and let's every know that you've modded a bit too! |

Yeah...
That engine bay is one of my pet peeves! It needs to be really cleaned up. I have a powder coating oven and will be doing many things. I just had all the gaskets ordered for the top end of the engine, so I think a red intake, with poslished rails, polished intake and many more will get the engine spifftied up. I personally like the merc tail pipe on it...I guess you would have to see it in person...the tips are huge and good looking. I like the way it angles up. But If I don't like it, It's a simple switch of the pipes. I will post pics as the progress happens. Kind of sucks this is all happening now since summer is here...but I will have the fall to play with it and in the winter it will go for some more stuff. |
