My favorite part, is when he gets off the motorcycle and walks into the mall as if nothing happened. Great idea if the helicopter did not get to see it all.

Should have gone into a parking garage. How could he not have known that helicopter overhead was looking at him...

He should have walked to the most crowded section of the mall, sat down and ate a burrito.

The best thing to do is walk into a department store and grab some clothes and beeline into a dressing room to change your appearance.
LOL! No I have never done this before...

Unbelievable!

The guy must know how to ride but, take your helmet and jacket off outside? He almost got away with it.

He should of bought a new jacket, cowboy hat and called a cab.

In the end, it's probably better that he just got caught.

I don't think the sentence is too harsh for that type of thing, and even if they didn't catch him at the mall, his motorcycle would give away his identity and life would suck with that arrest warrant following him around everywhere - when traveling, job applications, loans, etc, etc.

You don't think the cops would buy the old " that wasn't me. Somebody that looks just like me stole my bike"?

The trick is to make it home from the mall by someone picking you up and hightailing it home. When you get there you call the cops and tell them that it was stolen while you were taking a nap, etc.

Who's to say it was his bike. Easily could have been stolen. Problem with mall entrance - security cameras! Catching all of those lovely shoplifters. He would have been better off ditching the bike in parking garage, keeping his helmet on until he could get into a crowd. Then pick up a hat and sunglasses to cover his face.

I've known quite a few motorcycle races who made running from Police a hobby. Some would even pull next to a trooper, kick the door and then accelerate into the horizon!! LOL

The trick is, drive by the airport, the chopper needs to get clearance which takes quite a while. In the meantime, they disappear...

cheers.
