Default Disturbing home invasion...

We had a home invasion in my towm about 2 miles from our house this morning. As the details are coming out, its getting really disturbing. Apparently, early this morning around 3am two men invaded a house and held the females hostage. Mother and two daughters ages 11 and 18 I believe. The oldest just graduated from our local high school. The invaders took the father around town to local banks/atms to withdraw money. These bastard, low-life scumbags then set the females on fire and fled. They found three bodies in the house. Unbelievable and just shocking. Somehow the father was able to escape but he's in bad shape. The two scumbags crashed their car near the house as police arrived. They were arrested.

A neighbor thinks the people who did this may be somehow related to contractor who recently did work on the house. They believe it was staked out before this morning's event happened. I can't imagine what the father must be going through right now and I can only imagine the horror the females must've gone through this morning.

My town used to have public hangings, well before my time of course, I would love nothing more than to see these scumbags hung or burned to the stake. My prayers go out to the poor father. I have two daughters of my own and I don't know if I can handle losing my whole family. Unbelievable. We live in a small town of about 28,000. For many here this was absolute horror this morning. http://www.wtnh.com/global/story.asp?s=6825807

OMG--such a horrible, senseless crime...absolutely NO reason at all to kill these innocent women. The poor father/husband...our thoughts go out to him as well...you're right, these scum need to be 'released from OUR misery' ASAP. The horror is unimaginable.

No one is going to protect you in this situation but yourself.
Not when dealing with animals with no conscience.
At night, I'm about three seconds from a 15 round Glock 23, and would not hesitate to use it to protect my family.
That's a very sad story.

The worst part is these freaks will get their picture on the news more than the victims and they will have their rights and free lawyers etc. The people that do things like this are animals and could care less about any humans. Only way to protect yourself is to take your safey into your own hands. One of my friends in the Kelsey case told me to get my girls into a self defense class and another class that teaches the girls street fighting. They should carry pepper spray and don't go places alone. I guess in the old days they would just rape people, now they rape, torture, butcher and then kill them and throw away the body like it's a piece of trash. The cops can't be everywhere so it's a matter of taking care of yourself from the sickos, and there's lots more out there.

That is extremly horrible. There is so much evil and wickedness in this world today. I have a wife and daughter and don't know how I would handle a situation like this. I pray that the Lord would watch over that father and help him to get through this. God will pour out His wrath on those men when they stand before Him on judgement day! It's not too far away.

Awful awful awful....

Don't EVER let someone tell you that money or your posession is not worth fighting for, and comply so you dont get hurt. This is an example of that happens when you give in to a terrorist demand. Always assume they will do the worse and fight like your life and your loved ones life depends on it, because is most cases, it does.

If this happened at the home of a gun control freak, I wonder how long it would be before the "Right to bear arms" hit home?

The thugs need to be tortured, then killed. Death is too easy an out for them.

Shortly after I came back from a deployment, I had 3 guys try to rob my home. I shoot 2 (1 fatal) and beat one to near death with bat. I was arrested with various charges. I owed $104,000 in medical bills.

They come in my home and try to rob and kill my wife and I, Then they end up getting their rump rearranged, and I had to pay the medical bills and was arrested. Not what I would call fair.

We are not even going to get into what I lost on the value of my home because of the "murder" or the cost for me to repair the house, much less the physiological issues my wife had after this happened. It took her about 2 years to get over it.

BUT, It has been worth every penny and every headache. I would do it again if I have to. I will not live in fear, nor will I allow my family.

My lawyer must have done something right. All charges were dropped.

The new laws in Florida and Tx are in your favor now.

It's BS that criminals seem to have more rights than the victims.

wesman,

Can you give me a weblink to the new laws in florida. I hope I'd never have to use them as I live in a very nice place(for a change) But it would be good info to keep in the back of my mind.

Sadly when crimes such as this happen, there isn't a judge, nor the laws behind him/her to order sufficient and meaningful sentencing. In this case, the perps families should suffer the fate they bestowed on their victims while being made to watch, then put in a cage to rot.

Regards,
Aaron

Disturbed- You're a hero in my book, I wonder how many other families you saved by taking these guys out of action. Is there some kind of organization that helps victims, the ones that try to defend themselves and their loved ones? If not there should be, at least to help them money wise.I put a few more Kelsey pictures on my website http://tgfoto.com/Kelsey.html I figure since her killer gets his picture in the news every week she could have some pictures out.Tim

Disturbed, yes you're a hero Those sacks of garbage wont be trying to rob anyone else (especially the dead one!) By taking action like you did, you made your community a much safer place!

This story is horrible. I cant even imagine what the dad must be going through. I send my prayers to their family and friends. I'm glad they caught the animals, but I still have a problem with a society where the police can catch people who just committed such a gut wrenching crime and not instantly put bullets in the back of their head. I am so damn sick and tired of people concerned with criminal's rights. Kill them and lets get it over with. Jail is a joke. Jail doesnt scare anyone anymore. If these people arent afraid to murder 3 people, you think they're afraid to go to jail, have a cozy bed in their jail cell, 3 meals a day and recess time to weight lift and play basketball? Crap like this makes my blood boil. I agree with PictureMan. We give the criminals WAY too much attention. The criminals should get one photo in the paper. Under the headline "OBITUARIES". I would say dont even list them in the obituaries, but indoor dogs have to piss on something.

This is bull sh**! The law should look away and hand the father a shot gun while the two guys have their hands and feet tied. If this ever happened to me I think I would find some way to retaliate. This is a bad story and shocks us all. This type of thing could happen anywhere.

Thanks for the kudo's guys. But in truth, I'm not a hero. I'm just the guy that lives next door, nothing more. God must have saved my life about 4 times that night. And I have no idea how many He's saved my life over my 29 years.

It's sad, laws do not protect victims. This is why we have crimes like this. Because crime DOES pay. It's beyond horrible.

I pray the father can find peace of mind, and rebuild his life. The memories he has will never bring back his family. Even if the guys were put to death, it will help somewhat, but it will never bring back what he wants and needs in his life, his family.

Disturbed, that's an incredible story. I hope you and your wife are OK. I'm picking up my pistol permit application today. I've been contemplating buying a pistol or two for the home and this recent event pretty much sealed my decision. I would not hesitate to use them if someone breaks into my house. Hopefully, that won't happen.

The story gets worse now as sexual assualt charges have been added. Police found the 11 year old daughter burned and tied to her bed. As it turns out, one of the two scumbags were released from prison recently. One was sentenced to 9 years in prison in 2002. This one scumbag would break into homes in a nearby town wearing military night vision goggles. The other POS had a long history of larceny and burgarly going back 25 years. They should've never been let out of prison. A judge was quoted saying that one of the suspects was a cold, calculating predator. WHY let someone like this live let alone be released from prison???http://www.courant.com/news/custom/t...c_tab01_layout

The police haven't established a motive yet but neighbors believe these two scumbags worked for a contractor who recently did work on the family's house. They probably staked out the house.

I have to thank our local Cheshire police and fire depts for responding so quickly and apprehending these scumbags as they were trying to get away. I don't know how our police have the will to stay calm and not plant a bullet in each of these scumbag's heads. My wife and I are just dumbfounded over this event. Our whole town is in shock.
