Unlike some of my Viper co-workers I'm not that much of a watch enthusiast. My portable timepiece is a $60 Casio that I'm not too concerned with wearing while at work. It syncs three times per day with the atomic clock signal in Ft. Collins, Colorado and is the most accurate watch I've ever owned at any price. It has more gadgets than I'll ever use and probably some that I don't even know about.

Anyway, my $2,000 money for a set of tires recently went toward a new set of LG clothes processors. Hey, they make a really cool jingle. The tires will have to wait for some other time. Plenty of tread left and only 10 years old.
What the heck is a clothes processor?

A wife. Duh. I took it to mean he just spent $2000 on a mail order bride. Congrats on the fast wedding!

Great point. You hit the nail on the head. If this guy can buy a high end watch he obviously makes 10x more (or even more) than I do, but I thought it would not be proper of me to take advantage of this club without joining, so I joined right after I bought my Viper. Guess I am more old-school. This reminds me of the old Beatles song "I, Me, Mine". Also reminds me of many of my old girlfriends that just used me for their gain. Join the club or quit asking for advice.

Here's a pic of it. When it's washing or drying the display readout refers to the current cycle as "processing" instead of washing or drying. Wife and I compete over who gets to process the next load so we can play with the buttons and listen to the tunes. I know, get an iPod.

Anyway, this didn't have much to do with the tire/watch thread except the pic above is why I still have 10 year old tires on my Viper.

Boy...does this mean everyone should join a "club" for each car they buy? This is an open forum last time I checked with no requirement to join anything. Pretty uppity for a recent member. I'm glad the guys on the other car boards don't think this way. Even though it is a Viper it is still a car...get over yourself.

IT LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM! In any event, all you VCA shills should maybe hit this Rudolphe guy up to advertise here on the forum to make up for my missing dues - Viper watches from Rudolphe (actually pretty cool):

Stainless steel for $4,175

Gold for $6,875

Another color scheme in stainless:

Link:

New Model - Rodolphe Viper Chronograph [8/11/03] - TimeZone

Is this the watch you meant Jon B?

I would hope that most, if not all the people on this site are straight. Therefore picking up on the TAB for your missing dues would be a stretch.
