Finally a PMUM Memorial, thank you for your generosity...
....and patience in this matter. Some n00bies may not know but when Paul Mumford passed in a private plane crash we were all devastated. 3 weeks after flying me to and fro the WCGT race at Laguna Seca which he won in his #23 Comp Coupe and destined for racing greatness he encountered mechanical failure in his single engine plane and crashed.
A few close to him wanted to chip in for a brick on the newly made path up to the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca, $200 pretty cool eh. Well I posted here and the response was overwelming, what started as a brick, mushroomed into a full blown memorial, I think we raised like $5-$6K. Thank you to all that gave and waited, please visit it if you go to Laguna Raceway and say "hi" to PMUM, the greatest :nod: I received this email today, please read: Corner-Carvers Forums - View Single Post - Come in and vote on which version of the Paul Mumford LSIR Memorial we will submit. The Paul Mumford respect and fan club extends across the pond, hats off to this guys driving, he knew how to pedal a Viper. Every best wish and proud memorys to Paul close family and friends, so unfair and tragic a loss of life, of someone so nice who knew how to live. Rememered as one hella a driver.
