I agree that PacMan is an idiot.
But I also think that IMUS is a racist jackass. After his comments I don't see how one could believe otherwise.

Then why did Imus the day after the comment make another statement in defense of Pacman being arrested so many times because of the fact he's black.
Imus and Pacman deserve each other, as both are _ssholes. Why does our country especially the media always have to refer to someone as a black-american, a black athlete, a black student, can't we all be just Americans?

good post mamba, and solid red i agree 100%. the other one that burns my ass is the female golf commentator that got canned for the comment on tiger that was taken the wrong way. that was outright injustice.

I have never listened to Don Imus so I have no idea if he's funny or not. However, if you are going to go after one person for being racially insensitive, why don't they go after all? Why don't they make Eddie Murphy or Chris Rock or whomever apologize? After all, if it's insensitive for one person to say these things, why isn't it insensitive when everyone says it?
Furthermore, if Pacman Jones doesn't like people discussing his arrest record, he might want to try NOT getting arrested. If you don't want anyone to discuss the things you do wrong, then you should try to not do anything wrong for them to talk about. Just my two cents. |
