Leave Don Imus alone

This is whats wrong with many in our country. Everyone is so busy and eager to gang up on one side or the other they actually forget about right and wrong and common sense. Pac Man Jones is an idiot, and the entire world knows it.

Don Imus is not a racist. Don has African Americans in high positions on his staff, and we must remember Don Imus is a comedian, he is supposed to say things which are funny and controversial. So, we hire him and watch him to do what we like for him to do, then we condemn him at the same time for doing it? This is total political-correctness bull****. Don Imus has not said anything Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, or any funny comic hasnt said.

Don has been raising money for cancer kids for years and years. He has them over to his ranch and gives cancer kids the time of their lives. Not once have I heard any of this in the media. All I have heard is Don Imus is this terrible old man.

Don Imus does not have a problem. America does. Don Imus is a great American and I hope he doesnt apologize to anyone for anything. The media should apologize to him and leave him alone.

Not sure that I agree about the "Great American" comment. I remember a year ago or so he referred to Tim Russert as a Fat-Bastard.I really do not have any respect for him any longer.

Good point about what he does for kids with cancer. The media OFTEN (and intentionally) overlooks good news and focuses on the bad. Sadly, bad stuff gets better ratings. I really feel Imus meant his comment as he said he did. After what he went thru several months ago, I can't believe he'd be dumb enough to go and make another racist statement on the air.

When I heard Pacman's comment that "he would pray for Don Imus" (after accusing him of being a racist), I wanted to throwup. I guess he prays everynight after going to stripclubs, getting in gun fights and paralyzing innocent bystanders.

Thanks for a fair and open minded perspective.

Polarization is the poison that could potentially kill everything great our Country has been built upon and I am very happy to see that you seem to share this opinion.

If only we could restore a strong and moral sense of right and wrong with a heaping side of common sense, we could turn many critical things around in no time...Yeah I know, wishful thinking at this point.

Thanks Phil, its gotta start somewhere and I think more of us should not sit back and just let sensationalist destroy people for ratings. We should email and write if we have an opinion. We need to be heard. Its time to check stupidity with common sense and common decency.

I think he's a great American b/c he overcame some personal problems, he carries a gun, and he helps cancer kids. And he is very funny.

Not that I'm simple, but anyone who helps cancer kids and supports gun ownership is alright in my book!

Pac Man Jones is an idiot and an opportunist. The fact that the media would even give him a mike is ridiculous. The guy has been arrested like 6 times in a year or two, mostly having to do w/ night clubs and being drunk. Don Imus did his time in that lifestyle and paid the price.

Don is now completely sober and contributing greatly to society. It is insane to keep making him pay the price, especially when compared to a bonified loser like Pac Man Jones.
