Any leads on a good reputiable place for fixing/chroming wheels?
I have some rims that have minor road rash and a small bent lip. Any good suggestions where to send off my rims to get them fixed and rechromed? I want someone who does it right at a good price.

calichrome is the best in the business....but certainly not the least expensive. If you want the best, send them there. Many other places like Wheels America do a good job, but the quality depends on the franchise and the day of the week.

Nope. I don't know anyone there. I think if you ask around you'll find that most everyone will agree that they do the best and most consistent work. The only question is whether it's worth their price. Give them a call and see what they charge. If it's reasonable, you will not be disappointed with their work.

I have used a company called Chicago Wheel for repair and such in the past. Try googling them as I have lost their number. Just my $.02

Called Motomotion and he will not rechrome or likes to do 3 piece wheels. Oh well...next?

I had an email reply from Motomotion that indicated they didn't want to re-chrome my wheels either. My wife's PT Cruiser needs some fixing on one of the wheels.
Calchrome hasn't replied to my email inquiry in nearly a week now. I guess they already have enough business to keep them going. |

I am going to try this place.
WheelWorkz - Memphis Custom Wheels, Chrome Exchange, Wheel Repair and more. They rechrome so say their ad.

I would try Calchrome. Just call as they are usually busy. they have done 3 of my cars. Very satisfied every time!
