well, there's a lot of interesting stuff happening on earth and in space that year. The earth wobbles as we all know, in 2012 it will start wobbling the other way, as well as the earth and sun aligning with the black hole in the center of the galaxy. could be the most interesting time of our life or....just another year of the same ol stuff lol

That's what I don't get. How does the earth wobble the other way all of a sudden?

Dave you better have a good grip on that beer in case the earth does wobble. I just wish I knew if this 2012 was going to happen...I would go spend all my money!

If something does happen in 2012 its only because folks feared themselves into believing something will happen and in the process made it happen. Unfortunately, its for this reason I think something will happen...too many excitable morons in the world.

the world as we know it will end on 12-21-12 (central standard time - Texas' time zone btw )

all planned mods should be completed and enjoyed before that time

It's actually predicted that the earth will flop it's axis(north turns into south, south into north)

It has happened before, apparently somewhere around the 2012 date is when the most likely chance for it to happen again.

If you believe History channel's "Ancient Aliens" story then EVERY civilization benefited from alien intervention (lasers, telescopes, thongs, etc.) and every ancient civilization's calendar ends around the same time which is shortly after 2012. Something about something lining up in the galaxy that will make way for a direct hit to earth or something.

They better keep spinning that way. For a coriolis reversal the rotation of the earth would have to reverse. For us humans that 2000 mph surface speed change could be a bit of a rough ride. I vote we all take a trip to one of the poles before it happens. New Years 2012 at the Pole!

Lol, almost caughed up part of my lunch while I was reading this .... some time ago I was designing my own seat frame because the driver's seat in one of the Sprinters at work needed to be exchanged with that from a current model Sprinter, however during the process the thing needed to be moved, so I had to grab a crate to sit on and temporarily move my work somewhere else (pun intended).

If I remember that documentary from national Geographic, the story will be that the person who appeared to be nothing but good will at some point be regarded as the devil (666) and will get the blame for a lot of stuff in the world, eventually dying from a ray of light. That can be explained in several ways: something from space, a nuclear missile or conventional ammunition.
Either way, I could further explain my hunch but all we have to do for that is look at the newscast for current troublespots in the world.
Something lining up in the galaxy could be a sign that we will finally be visited by aliens? Or how should I interpret that lone Star Trek movie? Those planets ligning up meaning that the earth will further start wobbling in not such a good way (something about gravitational forces pulling each other out of alignment)?
Just throwing it out there ya know..

This all started because the anchient Mayan's calandar counts backwards. Date that it stops is winter solstice (Dec 21) 2012. It is not the end of the world but the bigining of a new, less stressed world according to the Mayans. (If you ever want to read a really thick book, with many, many big words, try "Mayan Cosmogenisis". Dont remember who wrote it though!)

Either way, whatever happens, lets get all the miles we can on our Vipers in the event the world does end..... And if it doesn't, oh well! We still had fun driving!

So beer won't need refrigeration after 12-21-12?

You can just leave it on the couch and when you head out for work in the morning it's still chilled and ready to go?

That kind of change for the better?

Might have to start stocking up on ribs -n- sausage too...
