That's because the warrantee folks denied my claim. Is there someone I can talk to about this?

Thanks!

yes, call the call center (800 # in your owners manual) and state specifically that you have an SRT. We have a very capable specialist there who will look into your situation.

Are there any suggested fixes to quiet a really squeeky dash around the radio in my 05? Thanks

We're not aware of the runflats losing air quickly nothing special about the tire in this respect......

Compared to the PS1 runflats, you are going to need more negative camber with the PS2s due to the decrease in sidewall stiffness. You are going to need to tweak the handling balance and and your shock settings for limit handling. The non runflats ride smoother and are better on rutted roads, but the loss of sidewall stiffness does not help at the track without redoing your setup.

Dry sump, lighter weight, 6 point harness, roll bar, lighter wheels, fully adjustable shocks, quick change camber adjust (sport shims) both front and rear, floating rotors, race seats, oh and did I say lighter weight.

Now I'll go back and read the rest of the comments.

notice I did not say add more power!

We don't announce final numbers till the year is over (eventually) but I think cars are going to be hard to come by this year as there is a lot of demand and we are keeping production relatively low.

Is there still a tire pressure sensor, or did that get ditched when you got rid of the runflats?

Yes, the tire pressure sensor stays for 2008

The run flats tend to lose about 4 to 5 pounds over a relatively short amount of mileage. They stabalize at about 24 pounds. Many do not check their tire pressure. Since I do, I have noticed this issue. My theory is that on cornering and over rougher roads, the stiff side walls do not totally adhere to the rims and there are micro leaks under certain conditions. Comment?

Or even after the production has stopped. When we met with the SRT guys in Detroit on our way to Stuttgart last December we asked for the '04-'06 production numbers and were told that they would be forthcoming

On another note. What is the limiting factor to get one of the SRT8 cars/jeeps to tow 5500#. I would llike to tow my Viper on an open trailer. Is it tires or chassis?
