Default For the next SRT call, whenever that is.

all questions relate to the new ACR.

What has been done to assure no oil starvation in sustained corners?

1.5G is based on what dia skidpad? 200'?

Are there still mounting points for a harness like in the Gen 2?

Are the seats the same as in the SRT10? If not, how do they differ?

Thanks,
Carl

Carl --

As far as I know, the 2008 ACR engine and drivetrain are identical to the 2008 Viper. However, the base 2008 Viper and the ACR version now have the swing arm oil pickup from the Competition Coupe to address oil starvation in high speed, high G corners. I als believe that the oil pump system is larger to deal with oiling issues and to provide the oil for the cam-in-cam system.

I believe the base 2008 and the ACR still have mounting points for harnesses.

Hope this helps.

/Rich

From what I have heard, the 2008 oil system is even better then the comp coupe swinging arm oil pan.
