Here are the '03 numbers fresh off the press..... Sorry it's a little late this year, but sometimes stuff happens.
Total built 1875 U.S. Market 1739 CAN. Market 130 MEX. Market 6 Total Red 1073 Total Black 402 Total Silver 390 Total Bright Silver 5 Total Graphite 5 Note: 5 pilot units built as Bright Silver (PSB sales code) and 5 pilot units built as Graphite (PDR sales code). All units were built with Black interior's As of entering "I" built not OK status First Retail Vin 3V500082 Last Retail 3V501777 Remember, Vipers are not built in VIN sequence. Side note, still looking into the VCA '03 Raffle Car. It apparently left the line as a "standard color" to be custom painted after the assembly process. '02 (Blue/Silver Stripes ACR) and '04 (Yellow/Black Stripes) Raffle cars left line as one-of factory color cars (panals came to factory painted from ASC and were assembled on line). Interesting note on raffle cars. Also kind of surprised at the color ratios. Looks to me like red will be first color replaced

My SRT-10 is VIN 1853 and finished production in July. That final VIN is incorrect...

That averages out to 1651 Vipers per year over 12 years of production. |

Remember, last VIN off the line is not necessarily the highest VIN used, or the or first VIN produced the lowest VIN used... |

I had no idea there were two different color Silvers. Anyone have any pics of the difference?

My sticker indicates my car is "bright silver metallic". Does this mean I ave one of only 5 of these? I hought all the silvers were the same until I read this. I have not come across another silver in person to check to see a difference. What do other owners of silver srt-10s have listed as the car color if not bright silver metallic???

I'll see if I can find the difference out. I would suspect the pilot cars were a "test paint"... maybe even brighter than the production silver. These cars would not have been sold to the public (yet) as they would not have been certified. Some go to engineering, some marketing. They often end up at auction a few years out.
