About a month ago I purchased an '05 SRT10..
After 400 miles, I changed the break-in oil as advised... While this was being done, took the opportunity to check out the underside of the car...It is truly an engineering work of art...especially the initially confusing cris-cross exhaust complete with crossover pipe ( you gotta ask yourself, what were they thinking, since most of the after market performance exhaust are far less convoluted ) After all of that this my question...There are several companies making performance exhaust, including MOPAR ( which is actually the least expensive)... Has anyone had any experience with the MOPAR exhaust systems ? Thanks, Milton cfive@dmv.com |

It's not that. This topic in different variations was covered extensively during the past couple of weeks as noted by the link Tico provided.
I think Ricky's just giving you a hard time. |

Well judging from his registration date, he went from novice to expert in just a little more than a year.

I was just joking around...Welcome to the club
http://www.members.shaw.ca/srtviper/...%20dhadwal.wmv Heres a really crappy sound clip of how it sounds when passing by another car....lol (yes it really sucks but its better then nothing) I had a [******] load of little pebbles hitting the car when I taped this so you can't blame me for doing such a wussy run! http://www.members.shaw.ca/srtviper/...%20Driving.wmv Now all you have to do is get some clips of the Mopar or hear it in person and you'll know which one you want more! Welcome Milt, where you at? I have the Mopar Race Exhaust if you'd like to have a listen. Prolly a bit more stout sounding than the performance exhaust, but it sounds great. Not too rumbly or loud, just right to me, but everyone is different

Ok guys,
I'm beginning catch on now...This is a fun crowd..My last car was a C5...Some Corvette owners take themselves far too seriously.. NOREDLINE, to answer your question, I live on Maryland's Eastern Shore..About 20 miles from the Atlantic Ocean...Not many, if any, Vipers in this area, the few times that I've taken mine out, people gawk at it like they've seen a UFO. Milt, they do the same her in eastern ct on the shore. People go crazy over this car. My last car was a Ferrari and no one could have cared. As far a exhausts are concerned, you must first decide how you will use the car and what do you want it to sound like. I did a post on this subject, do ma search. Believe me when I tell you the car will sound like crap, in my opinion, without the crossover. Also you loose power down on the low end without it. Fell free to call me anytime or email me at ToolCrib@sbcglobal.net.
