Stripes again available for order!!
After a hiatus of almost 4 years , you can now order stripes again for your Viper. Yesterday it became available to Dealers to get a Coupe in Red or Black with......drum roll...........Silver stripes. Granted we had the Commemorative SRT-10 with blue stripes ( just coming out in 05 ), but this is an orderable option, and with the popularity in the past of the Black/silver and Red/Silver Snakes, this will give owners more variety in their color choices. Look for more options in the future.

Black with silver would look good. I guess they are saving the white stripes for the "Finally Final Edition" Coupe down the road.

Doesn't sound like Red/White is in the works in the near future, so the Final Editions look safe for quite awhile.Enjoy and try to keep it under 160 out there in the Nevada desert!

Initially the answer was no, and of course they just did the Commemorative Edition, but since SRT-10 Convertibles will be very rare in 06, I would think it much more likely in 07. Using one of Comm. Editions we have in stock, as an example, it appears that paint quality is up from the issues with the Gen IIs. Since it is not as much of an issue as it was with the older cars, I think this will be a viable option SRT will look into further.

Bill, just for a heads up, I plan definitely to fly into Omaha on the 30th of September and head for Iowa City for a medical class reunion and watch the Iowa/Illinois football game. Go Hawkeyes!
That means that I am showing up in Blair to see what you have and hopefully see a blue and white coupe. Bob |
