After all these years I'm still heart pounding and sleepless everytime when i see the pictures of the CC. And I had tried so many places hoping that someone will one day be able to build a kit to fit in my Viper. But so far without any luck. The lines are way too sexy and I'm so horny everytime when I look at her!!! DC, please build a street version or anyshop please build a kit!!!!!
Sorry guys and gals for my mis-behaviour, I just can't help it. Ohhhh...CC street legal version...come to papa..... |

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, that picture is not the competition coupe but the GTSR concept car. That being said I will have to agree that Dodge would hit a home run if they built a street legal version of it. I saw it in person at VOI8 and it was awesome. I think they made a mistake by showing it on the same stage with the new SRT Coupe concept so that people could compare the two in person. It didn't help much in building enthusiasm for the SRT Coupe when everyone was drooling over the GTSR.

If the same team that brought us the Viper in '92 were still in place today they just might deliver that. Instead we get excuses like "too low", "not tested", "unsafe", "too radical", blah, blah, blah. Pretty much the same excuses Lutz and gang must've heard 15 years ago.

I'd like to see those sill guards on the next Vipers. My sills are shot with 5k miles.
That roof looks awfully low for production also. They could make the height adjuster on the seats as well. 2005 Silver SRT/10 2000 Steel Gray GTS (sold) |

If anyone was to build a one off version I'm pretty sure Autoforum would give it a shot! They do some pretty cool stuff.

Patience. I'm sure some inventive individual or company may develop something at some point. Just have patience.

If I had unlimited funds, i would do whatever it took to get that car. I saw it at VOI too, and it is trule breathtaking. In my opinion, it is without a doubt in the top 3 best looking cars on the face of the earth... and I think it leans towards the 1 or 2 spot.

For those of us that don't have the real thing, I purchased an exact replica of the GTS-R, color and all in a 1:18 Hot Wheels diecast. In fact, I just attempted to see if the pictures posted were really of a model like mine!...Only detail missing is the roof antenna on the model. It's even the same ride height!!
Do you think if I throw it in the pool it will hydrate and become a real one? Larry |

Phil,
I'll let the cat out of the bag. I'm half way done with the body kit. I've been planning this project for over a year. It is not exact line for line, but it has that "presence" and is based off of the show car and the comp coupe. It has a wider track and 2" wider body. I am taking it to VOI 9. Call me. I do, however, have a few of my own preferences on the "Street Serpent Aerobody". This front shot shows the wider body and a more gen 1 type grill opening. The pic is modified from a cc pic. I'm am extremely fired up about what I am seeing in my shop right now. I CAN'T WAIT to drive this car! See you guys in Vegas. Jeff www.trunktop.citymaker.com |

Isn't that a photoshopped Comp Coupe with the side fascia pieces blended in? (It also has a roll bar, and front mounted cutoff switch, etc.)
Can wait to see some actual pics...... You will have your order books FULL. |

With a 2" wider body, I gather this will be an all or nothing deal, i.e., you won't be able to bolt one or two pieces on an existing SRT without all the other body panels to match?

In the new vipermag it looks like roush is going to
try to market ANOTHER basterized version of the Concept GTSR. They removed the fogs lights and hadded some ground effects, but I'm still not feeling the warm love this baby produced. I still take it as proof Dodge wants to make vettes from here on out. If they really listened to us this thing would be a limited edition depsite being "undrivable." ... and I bet it would make money. |

the roush sema car is quite nice looking(check my gallery) and roush may sell some/all of the parts(body) as a kit. the car looks far superior too the coupe(street) that was introduced/sold to the public. i think it is what the srt-c should have been more style more daring.

Jeff,
Is the body kit made for a convertible or coupe or both? |
